In short: Loved this race.
In full: Very little to moan about, the start area was a bit congested.
Could do with a few directions in the race pack to help find the course.
I came in from Farnham, and left home at 6.30 to get there early(just under 2 hr journey) and had no probs with toilets etc.
I left after prize giving and SUPPORTING later runners and had no probs getting out of the CP.

In short: too flat for me- flat doesn,t equal speed
In full: organisation was excellent. some people here have completely lost the plot. Get there in good time, find the toilets, locate the start. oh yes & read the start sheet. If you can't do this go out for a training run. Car drivers have it too easy. I had to get up at 4.30, all you drivers had to get up at 7.30 on average and you couldn't manage it.Regarding changing, i was in a changing area with 3 other people. we had 4 toilets between us. No queue- absolutely excellent! Yes, the baggage area was a problem but you could all see that. They could have had more people on but there were lockers. But the moaners didn't bother looking. The organisers can't do it all for you. Only problem was too flat. I like hills. My fault, i knew it was flat before i came. Excellent race!

In short: First serious race for 17 years so hard to judge against anything current but enjoyed the experience. Very good marshalling.

In short: Very enjoyable
In full: First time visit to this race. All the volunteers and staff very friendly. Pleasant route through the Essex countryside.A bit confusing finding the start line like some others have said.Couldn't we start from the track where the PA system was? Probably need to look at exit from car park, and more staff to help in the luggage store for next time. But generally a lovely day and a PB. Would be pleased to come back. Thank you to all those involved in organising.

In short: First Half Marathon and thoroughly enjoyed it
In full: This was my first half marathon and I really enjoyed it, There wasn't enough loos but a quick dash outside behind the bushes sorted that out!
The early water stations were a bit undermanned so I skipped the first 2. Loved the country views and farm tracks pity there wasn't more of them. The scenery was very interesting so there was plenty to keep my mind occupied.
And loved finishing on a 400 metre track very springy!
