In short: Entered last year and the fact that we came back (from Northern Ireland) to do it again shows how good the race is! In full: I captained a team from the CHESHIRE Regiment based in Northern Ireland to run in the Army Marathon Championships. After a hard fast race we emerged as eventual winners which is no mean feat given that two of my soldiers were running their first marathon. A big thank you to all those who supported the "22 Runners" on the way around. Only thing is we have to do it all again next year. Excellent to see the green ribbons at variuos stages on the course.
