In short: Great scenic course and organisation
In full: 4th time out and a new pb. Shows that although it has a hill it can be quick. Another beautiful sunny day for a stunning course with castle, sea views and lap of the great Orme to boot. great organisation. A cracking event all round

In short: This is the best Half you will ever run
In full: Another PB on this course and finally got it under the 1:40 mark. A change of course to make sure the congestion on the cycle path didn't happen, but it was still busy for the first 3 miles and only then could you break away. Everything about this race was perfect apart from the change of location to pick up your numbers. If it had been raining then it would have been a very wet cold affair, along with having to queue for your medal and T-Shirt, rather than handing them out at the end like last year when you crossed the line. I feel this was because they did not have medals for the people who entered late so needed to check that those people didn't get one.

In short: Bangor hills and heat = hard but fun!
In full: Bangor 10k was a really good race, but with it being 30 degrees it was hard and made you push yourself! the water stop was a welcome, you get a water stop at 2 and 4 miles with them both being the same stop because you do a loop up a large hill twice! not easy...overall though a soild fun race, but don`t go into it expecting a pb cause that is no happening on this course!

In short: A really nice race, and farily beginner friendly, but they could at least have waited for the last one or two to have crossed the line before packing things away.

In short: Watch out for The Orme!
In full: Apart from The Orme the route is almost completely flat but I still don't see how anyone can set a PB here! This is a great race but there's a few minor problems; there's nowhere near enough toilets for the amount of runners, the first couple of miles is too narrow and the sand in the last couple of miles is a nightmare for tired legs. I'm sure there was no sand in 2010. I'll be back for my 3rd go in 2012 though!

In short: Adore this race, my first every half! Give it a go but mind out for the Great Orme!
