In short: An enjoyable challenge
In full: A good starter if you want to try a more varied surface. Challenging but not offputting.

In short: Great race. Included a bit of everything from hopping over styles, along single tacks, fields and roads. All off road or on qiet lanes. Well marshalled and lots of drink stations where bottles were given out.

In short: What a brilliant race.
In full: Excellent organisation. More water points than you could shake a stick at. Lovely and varied scenery. Very cheap to enter. Delightful marshalls. The whole race was understated and excellent to run.

In short: This was an exellently organised race. Water was plentiful and marshals were brilliant
In full: This race is definately on my calendar for 2006. It was unlike any half I have done before with an 'interesting' mix of road, paths, woodland and fields! Quite tough going in places but well worth it - passing through a number of picturesque villages.
