In short: Hot, rugged and challenging
In full: Fantastic countryside run with great views. Very well signposted and marshalled with both cups and bottles of water available. Varied terrain made for a fascinating run - you did not know what was comming next! Quite a challenging course and not pb material but good testing fun. The atmoshphere of the run was relaxed and there was some good company along the way

In short: Excellent organisation - one to recommend!
In full: Really enjoyed this race, although I found it hard! Very scenic, nice mix of road and trail, well marshalled. As a smallish race, had the strange experience of running on my own for some sections which may account for my slower time. Would I do this race again? Yes, definitely!!

In short: Not for beginners
In full: Apart from the hills and inclines and stiles at the end , this is a good course , but i didnt see many Steeples . A pb course its not with narrow climbs up rough , loose , stoney paths . My second ever race I would not reccomend for the beginner

In short: excellent production by the Idsall School.
In full: a nice and unpretentious local race. There was a nice mix of road & trail, and the event was run on quiet roads except for the town bit at the end. Marshalls were very friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, or at least I will once my sore legs are ok again!

In short: This is a great race. I will bw back
In full: Loved this race again. Testing course through beautiful Shropshire countryside and villages. Well organised loads of water stations it doesn't get much better. I also beat last years time and got a sub 2 hour finish so goals achieved.

In short: Yet again, a fabulously organised race in the lovely shropshire countryside
In full: Second time in Shifnal and am once again impressed with the organisation of the race. Marshals were fantastic and very encouraging, and it's a good course if a little undulating. Excellent support from fellow runners too. Thanks to all staff and pupils at the school for orgaising such a fab event - long may it continue!
