In short: Very enjoyable event, a nice friendly race especialy since its quite local. I did this race the first year and all I could remember was the hill at 5 miles, it didn't seem as bad as i rembered.

In short: A fantastic small race, great organisation, just a shame England lost beforehand!
In full: Lovely scenery, fantastic atmosphere and the whole event ran like clockwork. Was a bad race for me personally (started off far too fast) and so I had nothing left to give at 'the hill' after 5 miles, but the event atmosphere and organisation more than made up for it.

The only improvements I can think of for next year would be a timing clock at the finish line for those who don't run with a stopwatch, and *maybe* two drinks stations?! But all in all a flawless event... big congratulations to the organisers!

In short: nice way to spend a summer evening running in the country
In full: good race but best to keep your mind on the run not the scenary as you might end up falling in a hole by the side of the road like me :-(

In short: Very nice race.
In full: Heed the warnings about the hill at the end and save a bit in the tank for it. :)

In short: Great race. But oh so hot!
In full: Numbers seemed down on last year, but given the heat and seeing as the England match only finished an hour before I guess that's not surprisng.

This is a really good evening 'no frills' race: turn up, run, go for a pint! The marshalling was excellent and very supportive, runners very friendly and the route nice and scenic with very little traffic. This is a fast course, thoguh saving a bit for the hill in the last mile is always a good idea.
