In short: Excellent race, supportive marshals, techinical t-tshirt & a Mars bar - fantastic!
In full: Second time of running - well organised & excellent supportive marshals. If could start earlier 9.30/10ish (before fun run) would be better especially if hot like this year & also for those of us travelling from away - doesn't use up all of the day (would need to get up early whatever time it starts)
That aside fantastic race & will be back despite being 6 mins slower this year due to the sun!

In short: Excellent local race
In full: Well organised and great value run taking in the Burton on Trent Washlands and Stapenhill area.

Easy resgistration, easy parking and good changing facilities at the local leisure centre.

A challenging upward climb at 2.5 miles (and again at 7.5 miles) but it difficult on what was a hot day but there was a very handily placed water stop at the top of the hill to compensate.

Well done Burton AC - A great run.

In short: I helped organise this race so my opinions are a bit biased.
In full: Please leave constructuve comments we are looking to make next year even better, already agreed water bottles for next year and we are looking at improving the number collection and distribution. Next years course will also be river side only, due to Bridge work so may be even more appealing.

In short: a most enjoyable morning run
In full: after getting slightly confused with the signs
and the queues to collect my race number having
entered in advance but after the cut off for
posting my number, I sat and enjoyed the sun
and the start of the fun run.
I thought this race was well marshalled but I
personally prefer a bottle to a half full
plastic cup, especially in this heat.
If this event could somehow put more of the
route along the river that would be better in
my view that running through housing estates.
The post race facilities were very good with a
shower within 200 yards of the finish line,
that makes such a difference.
Well done to the organisers today and a nice
touch I thought was the junior members of your
club helping at the end with drinks and mars
bars etc-excellent stuff.
Overall, a bargain event.

In short: pheeew
In full: 2nd time of running previous comment re Marshalls on the road bit-two side roads had no marshalls. Drinks in cup for me is a no go. I would be willing to put an extra £1 for bottled water. T shirt this year definate improvement.

In short: Go run, scenic, generally well organised, worth a go
In full: Pros: Generally well organised and supported, good scenic route with a nasty hill to contend with twice :(
Cons: Needs to start earlier as today was very very hot, minimal water stations makw it more difficult. Rather than T Shirts which do not have size available have a medal for completion as one size fits all.
