In short: Avoid this one like the plague - nightmare to get there - enjoy the totally unecessary traffic jams - NO EXCUSES race organisers, you can easily solve this - SORT IT OUT PLEASE !!
In full: Potentially a great race, if only they would sort out the traffic off the M4. I live only 15 miles from the course (Ascot)and it takes an age to get to the car park. They should be managing the lights off the M4 and giving priority to the thousands of cars pouring off the M4 from the North, rather than the two or three local old biddies just popping out to get a newspaper on the minor feeder roads. Start line is too cramped and the meeting opportunities at the finish are bad, meaning it can take 30+ minutes to be reunited with family. I will never run this race again unless they lay on either a police escort for me to get to the car park or a helicopter. It's a shame because the course is a good challenging route and the stadium finish is a great feeling. Recommended if you dont mind sitting on the M4 for no reason.

In short: Great run, good course
In full: Course was a little dull at times especially the long drag down the dual carriageway back to the stadium but well worth it once back at the Madjeski. Really well organised.

In short: Very good race
In full: Used it as a part of my training for the marathon – as a lot of other people did! Scenery not that great, but enough to take your mind of the grind and a very good finish into the Madejski football stadium! Very good local support all around the course.
