In short: As ever a great big time event with superstar finish
In full: I love the atmosphere of a big race like this with great crowd support and the stadium finish is something else. Well organised but even better this year as there was colour coded seeding to reduce the usual congestion at the start which often prevents PB chances. Forgot my chip though so 'no chip, no time'!

In short: Loved this race, it was well organised, definite PB potential and will do again next year
In full: I loved this race, the crowds really got behind you every step and the organisation was superb. Will definitely be back next year.
I ran this race as part of my challenge, Challenge 40, to find out more go to www.challenge40.co.uk.

In full:
I've completed this race 3 years in a row and I keep coming back....I dont see a time when I wont want to run the Reading Half.

Great atmosphere, lashings of support, solid medal.

Dont just think about entering this race, do it!

In short: My first event and it was amazing!
In full: I loved this run, going though the University campus where I study and then into the Town Centre, and finishing in front of the stands at the Madejski which was simply brilliant. A pretty flat route too in general not too many long or steep hills. I managed to run it all which was a first for me. Well organised and I would definately do it again.

In short: Brillient Race
In full: I love this HM, second time I have done it, it is very well organised, well supported and plenty of space and drinks. Bit boring at teh start and a bit of a hill, but fantastic after the University bit. Finishing at the stadium is great

In short: Great run, great course
In full: My 4th half marathon, great course although found the last loop back to the start a bit of a slog, so near yet so far! I took a drink with me, you just never know, my goodie bag was lacking a drink bottle which my brother in law got he was 12 mins ahead of me, but at least I got a goodie bag! Managed to knock 7mins off PB so I was well pleased!

In short: No jelly babies or energy drinks at the back, not even a goody bag at the ned!
In full: Well organised race until I got to the first Lucozade stop and found it had run out, then got to 8 miles, it had run out as well, no jelly babies either, and sadly not even a goody bag at the end. I finished in 2:45 certainly not quick but there were still plenty of people around me and behind me who also missed out. Shame such a big event who would know registration numbers prior to the day can't get this right. Finishing in the stadium was great though (this was of course before I knew about the lack of goody bags!)
Will probably do it again, it will just inspire me to be a bit quicker!

In short: Highly recommended
In full: This was my first half and I loved it, so much in fact that I signed up for Bracknell the following day. I have read some negative comments about drinks, medals and the kit tents but I guess I was one of the lucky ones as I experienced no problems. I thought the organisation was very good. The bands playing in the town centre was an excellent touch - more of this around the course would be great, although a bit less 'Eye of the Tiger would be also be welcome! The only critiscisms I would make would be that too many people were over-optimisitic about their potential time leading to a lot of congestion early on (not much the organisers can do about this) and it would be better indicate on which side of the road the drinks stations are located - I missed the first Lucozade station as it was immediately after the water on the other side of the road. Otherwise - top marks - I'll defintiely be back next year.
