In short: Wouldn't mind less bottle-necking at the start and a bit more room to wind down at the finish, but overall a lovely course and very well organised.

In short: Great fun
In full: I was really dreading this race, having read that the course is really hilly, but I really enjoyed it (despite having to walk several times on the uphill!). Bottleneck at the start of the course (single file), which was probably very frustrating for the more serious runners and generally difficult to overtake during a large part of the course, but the sceneray is wonderful and well worth taking the time to enjoy. Most of it is under cover of the woods, so heat wasn't a problem. The atmosphere was great, the course was challenging, the marshalls were fantastic and thanks again to the girls encouraging the runners half way through the 9th Km! Too bad we had to leave so early after then end of the race. Would love to run this course again, it's real fun.

In short: Quite hilly in parts, lovely running in the shade of the woods, a bit of a shame there is a bottleneck at the start of the race where runners enter the woods; nice school fete atmosphere. Thank you.

In short: Lovely views....big hills
In full: Lovely off-road course. Glad it hadnt rained the night before or the hills would have been a bit slippery. Enjoyed it. :)

In short: Scenic route, very well organised.
In full: Runs started on time with a good warm up to music beforehand, everyone joining in. A nice family outing with a bouncy castle and ice cream van on the field. Loved the course through High Elms Country park and the woods, unfortunate for the narrow path we had to slow down to standstill to pass through in single file. But still ran a good time and really enjoyed it.

In short: Usual great event, hard course but very friendly.
In full: Great event, only need to reduce bottle necks in first couple of miles and then it would be 100% instead of 98%. Very well organised and very friendly and encouraging marshals and plenty of them. Well done Darrick Wood School and Orpingtong Road Runners.
