In short: Following the sound of the PA to try to find the start - and then hearing the gun ... what a start to a fast route!

In short: Good scenery-escaped horse on route to content with! Yes, hilly but not so bad. Car parking a real nightmere and everybody collecting numbers from small village hall was a bit too busy and congested. No organised luggage storage unfortunately.
In full: I wanted a medal-no point in running all that way without showing off some bling at work the next day! Also a good incentive to newcomers and first timers.

In short: A great race, beauiful scenery, but agonising hills, especially at the end.

In short: Very misty to start with, but soon cleared up so we could see the countryside we were racing in. I had a personal best and won the ladies race, so no complaints from me!

In short: A hilly run with a welcome recovery couple of miles at 7-9 miles before the last salvo of ups
In full: Well organised race with a good turnout, mostly of club runners but a significant chunk of indies too. Water stations were frequent with smiling support. Toilet queueing before the start inevitable - I doubt doubling the number of facilities would make much difference though and only add to the cost. Glad not to have lots of rubbish in a goody bag at the end - medals are nice, but add to the cost of the entry fee - at least the lion's share (boom boom) of what we all paid is likely to be put to good use after the event. The end seemed a bit of an anti-climax - probably because the finish was a short way from the village hall which seemed to be the hub of post-race catch up with friends etc. Would certainly do it again sometime though.
