In short: Good race for good cause; only a 'maybe' for 2012 because long way from home
In full: Clash with Silverstone GP was a drawback for me as I had to stay overnight and rooms were scarce and expensive. Glad I checked the parking/start layout the day before because my sat nav took me into residential mystery land! Otherwise, people were friendly and helpful and the squeeze in the early stages of the race was not a problem for an old charity runner. My slow time was down to me, not the course. Lovely that the rain held off for the morning. Glad I came but, for me, just a 'maybe' for next year.

In short: well organised and supported
In full: A good course - relatively flat just a few ups and downs for the underpasses. Supportive marshalls and well organised at the start and finish.

In short: Well organised, good marshalling great atmosphere
In full: The support along the route was fantastic.

The first mile was awful, far too tight for the number of people running.

In short: Fast, flat course along a nice route with a definite potential for a PB.
In full: My first time running this event and I would highly recommend it. Organisation was excellent. I had to collect my race number and chip on the day and everyone was helpful. Baggage area was well organised and managed too.

The race finishes on the school field at the end of the 100m running track and your greeted by someone handing you everything you need after the race.....water, banana, cereal/granola bar and that all important medal!!

Tip - Give yourself plenty of time to go to the toilet as the queue gets massive the closer it gets to start time!

In short: Great course, scenery, marshalling etc
In full: My second time here and beat last years time by 3 minutes. This is a well organised event, the course is all off road and thoroughly enjoyable - thats why I travelled 100 miles to do it again. A very friendly event suitable for all abilities

In short: Great flat race, excellent organisation
In full: Really enjoyed this race, well organised and for a city run it was mostly very nice scenery. All off road, although you run alongside several dual carriageways for parts of it - but the stretches alongside the lake and canal make up for it. Mostly very flat, just a few underpasses. You get a beautiful medal at the end, a banana, water and energy bar (they also offered an engraving service). The streets weren't exactly lined with spectators but there was some good support in the residential areas and friendly marshals. A little more expensive, but it's good to know that part of it goes to the charity! Will certainly be back for this one.
