In short: Great little race bit humid on the day but very flat and potentially fast
In full: Humidity slowed me down - can't blame the organisers for that! Great run for beginners and perhaps not suited to the very serious pb seeker. I quite liked passing the 4k fun runners near the end and if they were in the way I just called out as I approached.

In short: Excellent day except for long delay at the end waiting for results
In full: Great location, very well marshalled. Shame about 4km fun runners getting in the way towards the end of the run and the long delay at the end. Would have liked to have stayed to hear the results but took too long. Will do this one again, really enjoyed it.

In short: Attractive, flat, friendly and well-marshalled, but ...
In full: * Start delayed by late-comers - annoying considering I had arrived at 9:10 and was ready to start on-time.
* Had to work my way around dozens of 4k fun-runners for last 2k of 10k run, often blocking path completely. Start of fun run should have been delayed in proportion with delay to 10k start, or just made later anyway. Just what you don't need at that stage of a race.

In short: well signed & marshalled; organisation needs some attention
In full: a good course - rather winding, but flat, well-signed, traffic-free and scenic. Nice T-shirt. Organisation clearly a bit thinly-stretched or maybe just overwhelmed by numbers (over 300). Results & prizes took about 2 hrs to work out & announce!

In short: great scenery, well marshalled
In full: At last...a truly local race! Route was great, though the heat/humidity added 5 mins to my average 10K time. Well organised and great marshall/crowd support all the way round as well as at the finish.

In short: Nice race in a nice park.
In full: I entered this last week, but have been feeling fairly rough for the last half of the week. So, for the first time ever I ran out of steam at about 7 km...I think if fully fit a PB would be possible.

Nice friendy race, no problem with number allocation although I did not receive mine in the post.

Very well marshalled, with someone on every turn it seemed and all helping you along the way.

My only critism is that there were loads of t shirts left at the end, but all medium or smaller. Being a big old lump an XL would have been needed. Apart from that a nice run.
