In short: The best
In full: Still my favourite race. Great route, lovely atmosphere, wonderful marshalls, faultless organisation, nice t-shirt, very cheap.

The weather was perfect as well, but this would be a brilliant race even in a deluge.

Thanks very much to all at Tring Running Club for another great day.

In short: A multi-terrain race with some challenging ups and downs to keep things interesting - but still do-able by plodders like me who are towards the back of the race
In full: I'm originally from Tring so this was almost a 'home' race for me.

A glorious day to be running and some fantastic scenery as you make your way towards, up to and through Ashridge. And more fabulous scenery as you make your way back via some steep downhill parts and yet more undulations before a flat finish.

Great organisation and brilliant directions and support from the marshals around the course. A couple of good vantage points for supporters around the course too so family and friends can cheer you on.

Good value - and a really nice tech t-shirt at the end as well.

In short: Top notch race
In full: I'm biased as I am from Tring and run with the club.
But this is a great race, which offers value, great organisation and an excellent route.
I would love to run it every year but I'll be out marshalling next year!
All different abilities run this race which is great.
Run this race before it gets too popular!

In full: Organisation - superb throughout. Very minor blip at the start, not sure the announcer's megaphone was working so only the people at the front could hear him announce the start.

Course - could be very tricky if it was really sodden. Some patches of mushy ground this year, but 95% firm underfoot. Used trail shoes last year, decided to risk lighter race shoes this time, no issues at all.

T-shirts - Far better than most you pick up at other events, definitely plenty of thought goes into the design of these, very original. Not sure how they make the figures work giving these out when the entry price is so low, but very happy to wear mine.

Some nice patches of supporters along the course, where it was accessible. A great course to run on, whether racing or training.

Great job by all concerned, race director, marshalls and everyone else involved with the event.

In short: varied, scenic & challenging course
In full: Truly a multi-terrain race with road, firm bridleways & slippy mud. Some tough hills as you make your through the very scenic course. Good value & a nice tech t-shirt at the end.

Only gripe would be the presentations took an age to get started

In full: Beautiful course/views and picture book weather this year. Challenging, muddy in places and fast in others. Nice T-shirt this year and an improvement on last years!

In short: Excellent as always
In full: Beautiful scenery, perfect conditions. Great race and marshalling. Nice tech tee shirt. Only minor flaw is I did not hear the start, need a foghorn or something. One of the best races around. Well done Tring !
