In short: Perfect setting and time of year for a PB which I duly did. Start and finish lines could have been easier to navigate, but let's not niggle.

In short: a very pleasing course, except the finish
In full: The setting is marvellous and the course is potentially very quick. A few things niggled though: the start was very congested, and the finish line was so crowded and unclear that I wasn't sure I had reached it! Also being hidden just round a corner, it was not good for a sprint finish. There were very few toilets (porta-loos) for the number of people, and water stations had plastic cups - difficult to drink from on the run. Despite all that, this was a brilliant excuse to visit a beautiful and little-known part of Wales - I'll definitely be back for the Berwyn mountains, and maybe for the race.
