In short: Undulating two laps through pleasant woodland and country roads.
In full: Good race, challenging with pleasant scenery. Parking is a mile away - good for a warm up/down jog?! Slowest half in over 12 years due to injury - but will be back!!

In short: Good course, water & sponges, a nice medal and excellent marshalling, what more can you ask for?
In full: Only niggles were with the bank at the start/finish which caused most of the field to stop and walk (wusses) and the distance of the parking from the start, which was >1 mile!

In short: Apart from long walk to start and not enough loo's, the whole thing was a really good event and even if we hadn't had 'perfect running weather' the run would have been shaded by the lovely woods we ran in. Not my PB but one of my most enjoyable. .

In short: Loads of cheery marshalls, but needed a few more toilets, please!n
In full: lovely to run on a traffic free course, and by the second time around, I was beginning to know where the 'up's were. lots of drinks, great support, and a BIG Mars bar. Yummy!

In short: A hard race with a tough finish down a 10 metre cliff plus 400m field
In full: I like this race the trees provide shelter fom the sun, not needed this year and the two laps are not a problem as the course is varied enough to make one wonder were you are. the big bonus is the free swim after the race to sooth the sore legs.

In short: Great Challenge
In full: This was my 3rd BB race, Miss the original course which was more challenge than the current two lap course. Thoroughly enjoy running through the beeches and the organisation by Burnham Joggers is always good. Race would be better if it was'nt 2 identical laps and shame the car parking was so far away this year but minor grumbles for a well organised race that I will keep coming back to.

In short: My first half-marathon and now I can't wait to do another, lovely course and hills not quite as scary as I expected, though that last one nearly got me! Very well organized and very glad of the Mars bar at the end!
