In short: I ran this race three times before becoming a club member. Now another fours on it's still one of my favourites. As far as scenery goes unbeatable at 7 in the morning!

In short: A good 5 miler for a first timer with encouraging marshalls
In full: The lack of atmosphere wasn't helped by the fact that the start was a distance away from the race headquarters.
The marshalls were excellent and encouraging, as was the friendly runner who kept me going for the whole cicuit.

In short: Good race well organised.
In full: Very good race over a slightly undulating to flat course. Doesn't make it a pure speed course due to the time of year and time of race. The race H/Q was excellent and kept the family well entertained while I was pounding the tarmac. I thought that the organisation was good. The goody bag - in my case a pair of Thorlos made the race gool VFM.

In short: Fairly flat course. A nice run.
In full: Hot weather made for difficult conditions. Why don't summer races start earlier in the Day. I know that they want to make these 'family' events, and so want to give people a chance to get up a bit later on a Sunday, but at this time of year, you risk it being very hot (as it was yesterday).

9.30 or 10.00 start would be been better.

Will be back next year, as long as it's a cooler day!!!!

In short: Good race, well organised
In full: Good race, although given the temperature another water station would have been good. Perhaps an earlier start time next year? Great marshalls and well organised. Will be back next year

In short: A dull race unfortunately, with misleading directions given in advance, causing us and others to be late - and then to find out it was a 10 min jog to the start!!!!
In full: The directions to the race were misleading (promised that there would be signs everywhere for the race location as "car boot sale" - but there were non at all) and inadequate.
Why not start races earlier in August? It is too hot at 11am.
The race start was 10 minute jog from the parking.

In short: Few more signs around at the beginning would have helped.
