In short: A Great, Friendly Race
In full: This race was really well organised with a friendly atmosphere.

The first couple of miles are nice and flat giving a fast start, but be careful as it gets a little harder, especially on a hot day. Definitely potential for a PB too.

Highly recommended!

In short: A very well organised race
In full: My first 5 miler - good route through the country lanes. nice and flat (tiny little rise at 3m) and a great finish mile.

I line the fact that they closed off the road at the start/finish. Also the signs to find the race were brill if you dont know the area.

In short: Great race, well worth entering.
In full: Have done this race for the past three years and have always enjoyed it. A nice flat course that is great for the PB seeker although I am a bit old for it myself, great organisation, they even have a test run on the course a week before the event and a bbq afterwards. This year the weather was just right for running, it has fell on the really wamest summer days in the past and nothing wrong with that. The best race I have entered for years! Oh and a reasonable goody bag.

In short: Great encouraging marshalls, lovely scenery and nice flat course!
In full: This was my first 5 miler (finished in 47.41)and I really enjoyed it - a good route and lots of people clapping which was encouraging - seemed really well organised too and the goody bag was OK - my t-shirt is huge though! Would absolutely do this again..

In short: Very hot but what a lovely run
In full: Definite PB potential here if you haven't had a late night then gone to weightwatchers in the morning allowing no time to eat, drink, get to the race....................

Will definately do it next year (following my own advice above)

In short: Very enjoyable 5-miler
In full: Couldn't have asked for more ideal weather - the conditions made for a much more enjoyable run than last year. Really well organised race with wonderfully friendly and encouraging marshalls all the way. Took my time today and ran around with a friend which made the run more enjoyable.
Braved the wasps and went for a choc brownie from the fab cake stand this year ... was definitely worth it!
See you again next year!

In short: done this before and I will do it again!
In full: fairly flat scenic race, dips in the middle and goes up at the end. well organised - it would be even better with chip timing. Really enjoyed it and will be back next year
