In short: Great night, thanks to all who braved the heat!
In full: Thank you to everybody who did the race on a very hot evening. Re the 3 mile marker sign, on a course that is more than one lap sometimes you will see the 3 mile sign before you reach the 1st mile sign, a look at your watch should give a clue as to what distance you have done. Happy days!

In short: A toughie but rewarding!
In full: A bit difficult to find, we parked nearly a mile away which meant a brisk walk to the start and thankfully the race started a bit late. Great atmosphere, we felt very welcome as independent first-timers. Yes the long hill was a killer - twice!- but something to improve on for next year. Perhaps the markers could be either accurate (3 miles done or remaining?) or removed to avoid confusion. Very friendly and encouraging marshalls, thank you.

In short: Great Fun!
In full: A great race, well organised, delightful course and a great, social atmosphere afterwards. Well worth the trip to Heanor and a great way to start the weekend.

In short: A well organised race. A challenging 2 lap course on a humid night. I'll be back next year
