In short: Great low key event
In full: A great little race in a terrific location. There is a price to be paid for the scenery 'though, if there is any wind at all you will suffer on the way back.
The value is outstanding ( compare with Liverpool 10k - more than twice the price and no T shirt ) and all money going to a great cause.
I'd be a bit cautious with the PB's. I feel the course may be a couple of hundred meteres short.

In short: Great run, in a fantastic location
In full: I really like this course and use part of that course for most of my training runs. The best thing about this event for me is it gives me a well-marked 10k course close to home to help my training.

The course itself has everything. Its flat and mostly on concrete which is good. The few hills that exist are short and steep so give you potential to put a bit of effort in. There are some country-style parts of the course which adds to the fun for me.

The organisation of this event is always great and you can tell the organisers put a lot of effort into making it a great day.

I'm looking forward to it again next year.

In short: Really entertaining particularly the off road bits! But what a head wind...
In full: Really lovely scenery and alot of fun as the course changes from road to gravel to off-road and back again. Actually made me laugh as I was running. I wasn't quite expecting the head wind to be as strong as it was on the last 5k and at times it can feel like you're running just to stay stationary but I still got a PB - must have been the tail wind for the first 5k that helped me...

In short: challenging race!
In full: Id definitely recommend running a slow first 5k on this one, as the way back is definitely tougher and very windy! good race tho, only criticism was i was unsure which way to go in one or 2 places so maybe the odd extra sign or marshall needed, but really enjoyed it overall...

In short: A flat there and back course, PB potential but only if the wind is not strong as it will be in your face for the last 5K! I would do it again.

In short: Fun, Friendly, and windy!
In full: Great, flat "out and back" course. Be prepared for some determined wind on the last 5K and enjoy the scenery!
