In short: Great setting for a 10k
In full: Great place to run. Well organised race. I was initially concerned with the late start in July but made a change from the usual 09:00 start time so I got over it. Defo back next year.

In short: Good but hard!
In full: Being on trail made this interesting but the hills make it a different ball game - they do really challenge you, whereas flat road race you can keep same pace, not so much with this one. i actually beat my PB which i was very surprised about, but i am a new runner i guess... was very tired by the end of it. great parking albeit £4 for the day. good scenic course through the woods. it was hot and sticky today so flies were swarming around every runner. enjoyed it immensely as it was harder than your typical road race!

In short: Sherwood 10k challenging
In full: First time I have ran this event found it very challenging as I am usually a road runner but overall really enjoyed the day 2pointb had it well organised and sherwood pines is a beautiful place next time I run this race I will definitely make most of the other facilities on offer.

In short: Lovely setting and well organised
In full: I do all sorts of runs, from the big showy London runs to small events organised by clubs and this is the first time I have done this run and I loved it. It was well organised, there was no fuss and as a runner there wasn't anything to worry about.
There was a long queue for the toilet, but there always is so now I just expect it!
There were lots more hills than I expected, one especially was long and I was tempted to walk at times as it just went on and on! So no PB for me!
The entry fee was very small so I excuse them for no medal or chip timing, but it is alway nice to get a medal. The T-shirt is very nice!
I will come back next year!

In short: Wel organised, great scenary, all in all a great way to spend a couple of hours
In full: A well organised race through the Sherwood Pines trails. Very scenic, although after awhile a bunch of trees looks just like the last lot.

The first 3-4 kilometers seemed reasonably flat and down hill and I had my hopes up for a good time. They were dealt a cruel blow as the ups slipped in. Not severe by any means, but hard work to keep going at a good pace.

Water stations were well placed and a great t-shirt for completing it. I am likely to come back next year.

My only grump is £4 to park my car. But okay, yes I acknowledge I am contributing to the upkeep.

Well done to all.
