In short: Cracking race with its fair share of slopes
In full: Really enjoyable race although surprisingly hilly in places (though not hugely challenging). Good spread of abilities and well represented by club runners. Felt humid on the day, definitely a vest only affair this year. Great that no headphones were allowed.

In short: One of the most special races in the UK
In full: I always think of the start and finish. Idyllic place to start, welcoming team, great starter. Then the run through glorious countryside. A challenging route undulating to say the least but only challenging, not off-putting. Brilliantly stewarded. The commentator at the finish is friendly, knowledgable about the teams and runners -name checks right to the end .It's chip timed, local pubs are friendly enough to allow toilet overspill at the start (that's people, not....OK, let's move on). It's a lovely race. All credit to the club who run it. Oh, and you can get out of parking in 2 minutes...unlike other Surrey races who have problems in that regard. Bravo- my 4th Dorking race (every one consistently good) and not my last!

In short: Smoothly organised, right down to the perfect weather!
In full: OK the perfect weather conditions for running helped (not too hot or too windy, rain held off), but this was a very well organised and marshalled race. Hilly but nothing too challenging, a great atmosphere, I had a lovely morning and will definitely be back next year!
