In short: Great race, shame about the organisation. I'm entering for next year but I sincerely hope they sort out the shambles at the finish line!! Great course though :o)

In short: Start delayed by 1 hour then pens were dangereously overcrowded. There appeared to be no planning whatsoever for wet conditions. T-shirts had run out at finish, though officials were leaving with large numbers.

In short: Badly orgainsed
In full: A response to some of the comments on here. Firstly, greedy people did not take extra goody bags/t shirts at the front depriving others. The reason they ran out was because the marshals handed out goody bags and then told people to get a t shirt. I only discovered hours later that the goody bag also had a t shirt in it! Secondly, the marquee for the first aid should obviously have been put up the day before. I organise a road race for my club. We only have a few hundred runners but we always set most of it up the day before. If you risk doing it a couple of hours before the race it is inevitable that at some point it will go wrong. These are basic mistakes from a supposedly professional organisation. I hope they have learnt for next time.

In short: Overcrowded
In full: I think it's all been said before, but my 2 cents are:
- not enough space at the starting/finishing line, especially considering the fact 1/3 of the runners did not turn up (or simply got tired of waiting and went home). 15k runners in that space would have been dangerous.
- was very happy with the water points, but why were the plastic bottle not recycled?
- was no one trying to clean up some of the bottles during the race (as I have been them do at other events) or do the organisers consider an obstacle race a bonus for runners :-P
- considering how beautiful Bath is, it's a shame the route is not more scenic (run from Queens Square to the Circus, past the Crescent and around Victoria Park for a while perhaps?). Upper Bristol Rd. is not exactly memorable.

In short: Baths great, organisations terrible
