In short: A vast improvement over 2008 and 2009
In full: This was my second Bath Half. Freezing temperatures. Crowded access to start line. No problems on the course, though. Just make sure you get in the right starting position. The run was excellent - despite seeing a mad runner in a mankini. (Where did he pin the bib?) A great charity event. Sadly under-rated by runners unable to fit in to the pre-2010 halfs.

In short: Two laps of the same route due to the town being small and the attempt to avoid hills. I used to live in Bath so it is always a joy to return. The start/finish on Great Pulteney Street is fantastic, but it is very over-crowded.

In short: Too many runners to cope. Many can't get to the start in time due to congestion. Poor organization.

In short: Great support, nice medal and if you finish quick enough you can get a small t-shirt !!
In full: I like Bath, two laps, great crowd, good pre-race atmosphere, good mix of runners, i even saw Michael Jackson !!! A few problems queing at the start, but there were 20,000+ runners and supports milling around, so its to be expected, no one died !!! The Ipod thing, who cares ? I am not part of the IPOD POLICE and I dont want to be ! Just enjoy your running and leave everyone else to their business. Oh and I got PB, so HAPPY DAYS !!

In short: Great crowds, and good, fast, pb getting course but let down by the organisation at the finish
In full: My first Bath Half marathon and one which i thoroughly enjoyed (probably because i knocked 19 minutes off my pb!). The crowds throughout were fantastic and really spurred everyone on, and the course was definately quick.
My only complaint was the lack of organisation at the end when you were funneled very slowly back into the village, getting colder and colder.
Those who moaned about being freezing cold at the start need to get a bit of a reality check, it's early March in Britain for gawds sake, what did you expect!! Go to a charity shop, buy a jumper for 50p then ditch it at the start! Bit of a no brainer really!!
Oh, and my Garmin also registered 13.25 miles!
