In short: a game of two halves
In full: Could you arrange to have the stately home moved to the bottom of the hill so that we can get a negative split? Great location, scenery, organisation etc. See you in 2008.

In short: Loved the race!!!
In full: Fantastic race!!! I absolutely loved the race again this year!!!! I came in last again this year but I really loved the race. All the marshalls were very friendly and positive!!! I particularly enjoyed the last few hundred metres when everyone clapped me in!!! The organisation was fantastic and everything ran like clockwork.

No complaints from me!!! Loved the race! Will be here again next year!!!

In short: Challenging course in beautiful setting
In full: This out and back course takes you steadily downhill for the first 2K, which of course means that you climb steadily uphill after the turn-around point, with a lap of the manor house to finish with. If - like me - you thrive on hills, it's just perfect! And even if hills aren't your favourite thing, there's plenty of glorious scenery for distraction. The setting is perfect, and organisation is great. Well worth the drive out - a lovely way to spend a weekday summer evening.

In short: Another good evening with VOAAC
In full: Nice venue, nice organisation and nice weather. Amazed myself with an unexpected PB so that was nice too!

As there are so few 5Ks on the calendar, I like to make the effort when there is one so close to home, and the weekday summer evening scheduling of this one makes it ideal.

This event was my first club run 2 years ago. Having done a few more since I'd recommend this as an ideal first time race.

In short: beautiful evening great race
In full: challenging course - a pint to anyone with a positive split! Only grumble was bonfire smoke drifting across course - really helped wheezers like me on the hill back!!
