In short: My first 10k and this race encouraged me to do more..........
In full: So scenic it helped forget about the hills (small & the large one), seemed like a fast course as I managed to beat my target by 5 mins!

In short: Like Arnie, I'll be back
In full: This was my first time at this event and was very impressed. Like others passing comments this year I got a PB. Knowing in advance that the last 2km is downhill gives you a nice warm glow.

The great weather also helped. Marshalls were excellent and very supportive, many thanks folks, it makes a big difference and we all appreciate the work you do.

Two small gripes, I nearly missed the turning from the A251, could have been doing with an arrow pointing out where the lane was. Secondly, like somebody else, we could probably have done with a few portaloos as I am sure the folk who lived on the lane near the start did not appreciate the large number of men using the bushes opposite their houses!

In short: Great scenery and weather. Well organised and very welcoming.
In full: This was my first ever race. I was a little nervous about knowing where to go and what to do, but the organisers were extremely halpful. Had a fantastic time, the weather was perfect and the course was pretty flat for the most part. Reading last year's reviews I wasn't sure if the hill at 7k would be Mount Everest or just a small ruffle in the ground. It turned out to be not too steep but reasonably long.

The race started in quite a narrow lane. I spent the fist 1500m being boxed in, but I guess it's for me to make sure I start in the right place next time.

In short: Great race. Loved it!
In full: This was the first time I have done this race and I must say it was brilliant. I enjoyed the small uphill bits and the scenary was lovely especially with the added bonus of glorious sunshine. I also obtained a PB getting in under the magic 1 hour and shaved over 5 minutes off my last time (big smiles!!). Definately do this again next year. Marshalls were very supportive and encouraged us all the way - thank you.

In short: Gorgeous weather, lovely scenery and great support
In full: Beautiful 10k race through the Ashford countryside. Just make sure if you're going for a pb to get nearer the start line (or at least the appropriate spot for your time) and that there's a bit of a blockage for the first 1km due to the narrow road.
