In short: Very quick running at the start of each 5km lap. Exposed parts of course open to elements. Pan Flat
In full: Won the race in 31:33. Normally there are faster runners there which would of been good in the strong icy wind, to get closer to 31 minutes. (The field was better last year). The last km is definitely 15 secs long running at this speed. Will appear proportionaly longer for those running at slower speeds. Support good on each lap of 5km at start/finish area. Has lead car with clock, unfortunately it stopped at halfway! The prize list said "1st 4 men" but this was only a bottle of wine and a marble memento. In previous years there have been vouchers for winners of age groups. The lower value prizes is surprizing as the fee is £8. Would still do this race again!

In short: Overall, a very fine race. My only gripe is with the accuracy of the last km - at least 1250m I reckon!

In short: Ideal for beginners and elite alike. PB very possible as fairly flat course, found all the road a little tough on my knees though.

In short: My first 10K. The course was good and was pretty flat . although it was 2 laps I was only lapped by about 4 runners.Ideal for a first timer.

In short: Good friendly race
In full: Had the same feeling about the last kilometre being a bit longer, but overall nice, reasonably flat course with plenty of car parking (a bug-bear for me). Will do it again next year.

In short: Ran a PB and enjoyed doing it.
In full: A village atmosphere. Friendly marshalls and locals. Much warmer than last year. Did a PB, which I was pleased about. Not sure what other people found but I wondered if the last km was measured right as this was my slowest kilometre by about 20 seconds and I just dipped over the 50 minutes which I was a bit miffed about as I was on track all the way to beat it. At least it gives me a target for next time!
