In short: This was my first race and I would recommend it to other new starters,
In full: The course is totally flat and well marked so it was a great choice for my first race. I was a bit disappointed with just a medal for my efforts but will definately be back next year.

In short: PB Heaven, Good quick course, back next year for sure !!!
In full: I thought this was not to bad for the entry fee. I enjoyed the course and admit it was perfect for running a PB, of which i did. Yeah, ok there seemed to be a problem with the lack of Toilets, though i never experienced any. Meet some good people at the start line and overall had a brilliant morning. Loved the 2 laps as my family were there to cheer me on !!! I will be back again next year, though beating my new PB is going to be a tough one but looking forward to it all the same.

In short: Beware of wind.
In full: Quick course, quicker on a still day.
Needed more toilet facilities at the start and it would be nice if the course was totally closed to traffic.
Some kind of 30 second build up over a loudspeaker prior to the starting horn might have been nice.
Not as cheap as some races that have better organisation, but I don't think the organisers are ripping anyone off - 700 people at £10 a head probably doesn't leave much after expenses.

In short: Nice enough - but pricey!
In full: Turned out nice today - after predictions of beelzebub himself descending upon the UK with his demonic wind & apocolyptic rain! Yeah, nice enough race but organisation needs to be better as the event has now grown from its 'cottage' backgrounds (if that makes sense). This COULD be a really good event - a classic mix of flat roads, very light traffic, two laps to wave at your supporters & early on enough in the year for the Midland Run entrants and (maybe) Great Northers to start that training treadmill. It has a LOT going for it. BUT, pricey - i paid through RW & was £13 - no shirt & just a tacky medal. No P.A announcement - or ANY that i heard - to go to the start, which is a couple of hundred metres from the comforts of the village hall. It was fairly chilly & a lot were sheltered here & only moved when others did in a "maybe i should go?" confusion.
Anyway, if these issues were addressed then this could be an absolute cracker...oh and maybe separate the finishing lane into "2nd Lappers" and "Winners" as i believe the leaders got caught up in runners as they came up to lap the slower people?

In short: Nice fast race, organization lacked a little, medal only at finish
In full: Nice friendly race on a flat course (2 laps). My daughter ran the 2k fun run which had a different start point from the main race and this was not well sign posted at all. No times taken as far as I could see but I might be suprised. I would think about doing it again.

In short: Good friendly race
In full: Need to improve the car parking - one way in and out for both cars and pedestrians to share is going to get someone hurt! Other than that no complaints.
