In short: Well organised, contained race - good fun
In full: Agree with other comments to date. I was hoping for a decent PB after 2006 race but the section out of the park, the running round the marshalls and the two way narrow stretch put pay to this. However, with a little modification this course could be really special - the park setting is fabulous, the organisation excellent and the atmosphere good - just need to curb the enthusiasm of the dogs being walked on route!

In short: Course not suitable for faster runners. Too many turns, pedestrians, dogs, obstacles etcs
In full: A 3 lap course within park would have been much better.

In short: Friendly and flat - but too many twists and turns for a PB
In full: The course runs through the park and whilst flat, has too many gates/ posts/ narrow passing places with runners coming the other way to make this a PB course - which is a shame as it could perhaps be 3 laps of the park rather than 2 and avoid the out and back sections where you have to almost stop to go around a marshall, but of course this would also be difficult as it would result in lapped runners etc. Great T shirt and goody bag and nice friendly atmosphere and well worth doing though! Cheers to the organisers

In short: A very well organised event....just a couple of gripes....the bridge and very narrow track, surely an alternative can be found within cannon hill park!! Also, someone in the main car park or even signs to point the way to the start.

In short: Fast & fun
In full: Two laps in Canon Hill park, an extra out and back section from last year and change to a more difficult bridge and a narrow section which was tricky on the first lap, made it a slightly less appealing course. Easy parking and, how often do you hear this, more than enough toilets, slick bag storage and in the main good marshalling easily made up for any down sides.
