In short: Not for the feint-hearted!
In full: Superb setting in grounds of Blenheim Palace. Metalled paths. Excellent organisation. Trouble is, 2 medium-sized hills and one big long one - and that's in one lap! If you had a Half with six medium hills and three big ones, you'd call it seriously hard. Glad I did it [I think!] but doubt if I'll be back. Pity they couldn't somehow find an extra mile as 12.1 isn't likely to attract an awful lot of runners.

In short: Lovely scenery with some challenging hills
In full: Things don't get much better than a race which allows you to storm past Steve Naylor three times (well admittedly he was a marshall).

First time I have done a multi lap race but thoroughly enjoyed it, which was a bonus as I didn't think I would. Mile 3,7, and 11 through the woods at the back of Blenheim Palace were a fantastic array of early autumnal colours and a great reward for the hill that had just been tackled.

As a non-club runner I didn't feel out of place.

Excellent value race, great support from the marshalls and a nice small field meant it never got too crowded.

In short: Ok but not great!!
In full: First time I've competed in a multiple lap race and didn't particularly enjoy it. However very nice setting and enjoyable drive to Blenheim palace!
The event had a very clubby feel to it, i'll give this event 5/10 and doubt i'll run this event again.
