In short: Well organised fast run with a nice medal as a souvenir
In full: This was my first organised run and I found it thoroughly enjoyable. Markers every kilometre and good management of the traffic by the marshalls allowing for a speedy run. I will be back next year.

In short: Ideal for those wanting a PB and a lovely river views
In full: Nothing to criticise at all and while the first half is a little dull this is forgotten about after the final 5K along the river, the splendid medal and, in my case a PB. Next year will get there early so as to park a bit closer to the race HQ

In short: Great race - extremely well organised with enormous pb potential.
In full: The race was extremely well organised. There were good facilities at the Leisure Centre before the start of the race. The course was flat and fast; definite potential for a pb of the course. The race marshalls were supportive and very efficient in ensuring that traffic waited for the runners to pass. The second half of the race was picturesque beside the river on the towpath. My only gripe was that the towpath was narrow and congested at times, and I was sometimes hampered by others selfishly running side-by-side while simultaneously having to compete with cyclists for space! Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the race, managed a pb and liked the medal! I'll be back next year...

In short: smoothly organised pb-fest !
In full: A good slick event, ideal for anyone looking to set a pb, its still very much a club runner's event with a lot of good runners and big team participation - but everyone + anyone is welcome. Sensible sized field (650), fast course, and accurate km markers, its run by runners, for runners! in truth this isn't the most exciting event on the running calendar, its not sort of race you'll still be telling people about next year, in fact some people's training runs will be more picturesque than this course - but thats not the point. there are many worse places to set a pb!

In short: It's got even better
In full: The use of the Leisure Centre has given an extra polish to an always well organised race. Great use of the hall and facilities, and great to have so much room.
Love the return of the (top quality) medal, and is much better than last years mug.
It's still my PB course so must be quick.
Will be back next year.

In short: Good race on a flat course with nice scenery on the 2nd half
In full: This was well organised as always, with great marshalling, though perhaps a bit less support on the course than before (due to the earlier start?) The leisure centre facilities were very good but more loos would be an improvement.

In short: Nice flat route, last 3km scenic Thames route.
In full: Extremely well marshalled and well organised. Nice gentle falt route, ideal for beginners. Quite scenic during the last 3km when running down the Thames path.
