In short: Nice course, excellent organisation and marshalling, good value for money In full: I would rate this race right up there with any other I've done before, in terms of doing a fast time, clear signalling and overall organisation.
Registration pre-race was well structured, I think there were at least 4 queues depending on your name in the alphabet to help ease any congestion. Based at the Xcel Centre in Walton, runners could leave gear in a locker for a £1 deposit, toilets and changing area were also available.
The route was very straightforward and there were clear km markers for every km, as well as a drinks station at halfway. Excellent medal at the finish to reward your efforts and results were online very quickly post-race.
Will definitely make this my annual flagship 10k, well done to all at Elmbridge Road Runners for making this event happen. Date of review: August 10, 2010

Its organised by runners who must know the need for sufficient toilets at these kind of events, how much would it eat into the funds to get sufficient portaloos?
Despite this, its one of my all time favourite 10ks and is on my annual calendar now. Date of review: August 1, 2010
In short: great race - shame there weren't more toilets !! In full: very impressed with the course, and the organization was excellent, but as with last year's race, the queue for the toilets in the Leisure Centre was pretty long - there didnlt seem to be anywhere else to go !! How about some portaloos next year? Date of review: July 26, 2010
