In short: Great fun. First 1/2 so had to be a PB. Hills not a serious problem.
In full: Recommended to a beginner if trained properly.
Look for a PB elsewhere. 'Tiptoe Hill' was placed sadistically at 10m but not over-challenging. Leaving car park was problem in view of participant numbers. Mike (55)

In short: Good race and course, shame about the car parking.
In full: I enjoyed the race, the scenery was great. It was nice to run through places I'd holidayed in. However, the car park arrangements were appaling. It took 45 mins to do the last half mile by car to the car park. So having joined the queue at 10am for an 11am race start it was very frustrating. I nearly missed the start and my family did.

In short: Excelent for my First Half Marathon
In full: I really enjoyed running this race. It was my first race full stop, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The hills are OK, but seem to go on for ever at places.... I would definately do this race again and might even consider trying the full marathon!

In short: A fab setting for a half marathon, the scenery was inspiring. Bit hillier than I'd hoped, but well organised with loads of water and sponge stations. The locals (in cars and on foot were very considerate of the runners and I had a great

In short: Weather beyond control of organisers, but start time not maybe. A little earlier would have benefited some. Gained a personal best on this course and will be back again next year for certain

In short: Couldn't fault it
In full: Great organisation - even the train back to London was perfectly timed to ensure I had to run a PB!

In short: Well worth doing, but for 'undulating' in the race description read 'hilly' !
In full: My first ever half marathon and was starting to feel it after about 9 miles ! However got inside my target time by 10 seconds. Good atmosphere, good scenery and a hot day - thanks to the young lad with the hose and spray attachment ! Some steep hills to look out for, probably not the best for a PB, but I'm a beginner sho what do I know ?
Overall a very good day and not too crowded. Would definitely consider doing it again.

In short: Well organised 1/2 Marathon
In full: Enjoyed the race it could have benefited from the car park being a bit nearer as had a LONG walk/run to start. Well organised with enough water. Cars a bit scary some seemed to be getting very annoyed with us runners. All in all a good race will probably run again if I can. Well done New Forest Marathon.

In short: It was my first HF marathon and it killed me but I am glad I did it. I would recommend it to any beginner as long as they train hard. It was a shame it was so hot as it made it uncomfortable and the traffic was awful.
