In short: It's the FLM. A great race for everyone.
In full: Wonderful. It's like a good wine. It needs time to mature. Perhaps straight after the race I may not have raved about it but I do now. For such an enormous race the organisation is excellent. The crowds are uplifting. The finishing mile is brilliant. PB potential is not there if you are stuck in the 4 hour zone as you spend so much time dodging and weaving. The price (certainly compared to others) is very reasonable.

In short: I don't care what people say I love this race
In full: This was extra special this year as my girlfriends first ever marathon. We were in different starts I manage to infiltrate it couldn't find her though :(. Found my pacer first mile was slowest but managed to get into the 8 min miling mode god it was hot. Saw Kate Lawler (didn't look at the face) passed Iwan Roberts (bit far for you mate ;) ) he's never heard that before lol. My pacer wanted to go wee wee at 15 I didn't big cue so lost 5 mins. Bad time round Canary got it back at 20. Massive thanks to Fetch point I carried on to a PB unfortunately it weren't sub 3.30 very emotional haven't quite mastered the tummy probs. Few pints after great day love it love it love it

In short: A great day!
In full: My first marathon, and what a way to start! I knew it would be a struggle, but the day was just amazing. Superb organisation, fantastic crowds, a day I won't forget in a hurry.

Fingers crossed for a ballot place for next year!

In short: I'm still buzzing almost a month on!
In full: What an amazing day?! So well organised from getting there, running the race and then hitting the pub afterwards! Apart from 10 seconds going under the bridges into Canary Wharf, the support from the crowd was constant and really helped! Water and energy drink stations aplenty as well as friendly supporters and their jelly babies! I've already signed up for 2010, bring it on!
