In short: Well organised and friendly
In full: I dont usually go for the organised pre race warm ups but this one was very good ... well done Rocky. An inspiring speach from Bob Wilson and a beautiful course. 1 slight hill but a pretty fast course and managed a PB. The drummers at the begining and end were a big help. The vegi hot dogs available pre run also helped!! As someone else mentioned, seeing the finish line and then having to run up hill and on grass, whilst backing up on yourself to reach it was a bit disheartening but the crowd is their to chear you through it.
Very friendly, informative Marshalls. Great race. Thanks to all involved.

In short: Great with one miserable exception
In full: A beautiful day for running, The grounds were great the warm up hosted by Bob wilson (ex Arsenal goalie) was moving. Rocky warm up was great. Race through the undulating grounds of hatfield was lovelly. The ONLY gripe and this may sound stupid, was.... If you are going to have the finish line showing when you come round the corner, Make it the finish line. I sprinted as I am sure many others did hoping to make up some places. only to realise i had to do a lap of the field first and end up at the back of the finish. it runined me having to kick again, running on grass uphill to the "other" finish. Other recounted the same issue. Apart from that well done. great cause. will be back wiser, next year.

In short: Great support pre, during and post race. All in beautiful scenery and for an excellent cause. Fantastic event, thanks to everyone involved.
In full: I was surprised at how few (relatively) runners there were given this is such a great event. It clashed with the Standalone 10K in Letchworth which is nearby. If you had different dates that might help numbers because the facilities, organisation and course at Hatfield could handle more runners and deserves the recognition that would come with that.

In short: GREAT RACE, LOVELY LOCATION
In full: Really enjoyed this race in the great surroundings of Hatfield House.

Mixed terrain, grass/paths. Good crowd support.

Set a new PB of 52 mins, beating my old one by 4 mins.

Will definitely do it again next year!
