In short: Tough but fun!
In full: Beautiful countryside and a tough, but very well organised race. Having done this last year I had been looking forward to coming back, and was not disappointed. Will most definitely be back again next year.

In short: Very tough but well marshalled and worth doing
In full: Having done a lot of 10Ks in 2007, mostly found via Runner's World, how this can be described as just 'undulating' is beyond me. I can only think of one other event I have done which is more testing in terms of hills (Alice Holt 10K) and that is cross country whereas this is a road race!

That said, it was enjoyable in a sadistic way but it would be advisable to leave any plans for a PB in the car. The marshalling and organisation were very good, so full marks for that, and the finish line was very well attended by the local people which was nice. Also, the scenery was great and went some way to offsetting the 'undulations'..........

In short: Really enjoyed it. Hills make it "INTERESTING"
In full: This was a really enjoyable race. Funny how you forget the up-hilly bits until you get to the point that you can't turn back :-)
Back next year or another go.

In short: 'Wood' do it again.
In full: Did this on recommendation of friends who kindly took me along.
They told me what to expect course wise, and no matter how much I was told, the last 3k up is tough to say the least, especially to finish off from the quick previous 7k.
Nice to see the pale and confused pigs at 6k, and as for the organisation; nice lead car, well marshalled, well organised, nice medal, bargain entry and nice wooden shield too for placers.
Nice start to the year.

In short: Tough but worthwhile
In full: The race is a tough 10k with a really testing last 2k. Slick organisation and super marshalling, all you'd expect from a Lions event. Very scenic route and virtual traffic free roads make this a good start to the year.
