In short: 2nd time of doing it, and a PB again!
In full: Enjoyed it more this time, because I wasn't so fazed by the second lap. But by the time the slower runners got in, there wasn't any water left, which I thought was really bad.

In short: No frills race for people at the quick end looking for a pb
In full: More of a club league cross country than a normal weekend event! I think it's more of a pb race than a pb course - the course has it's fair share of twists and turns, but the field is much higher quality than, say, St Neots 1/2, so if you're quick you'll have plenty of company to carry you along. By the same token, Mrs Nutkey says it got a bit lonely at the slower end. Value for money - yes, but if I'm driving 40 miles to get there anyway then an entry fee of 7 quid versus 10 isn't really a factor. Let's have a slightly higher entry fee, and maybe the organisers could afford a megaphone and a snackbar at the finish...

In short: An above average event
In full: A bit on the road, a bit on the footpath, and a bit through the woods for 5 miles, and then you do it all over again. Not totally flat, and a bit twisty, but what the heck if you get a PB.

If I had any complaints, it would the number of roundabouts in Peterborugh. Not an easy race to get to if you don't know the area. Give yourself lots of time to get there.

In short: With so many long straight flat roads in Peterborough, why run a 10m race in a housing estate?

In short: Didn't get on well with the two-lap twisty course, but a well organised event.
