In short: My best 10k time yet - I enjoyed it !
In full: It was difficult to find the location at the outset but apart from that I really enjoyed the event - very friendly organisation + made you feel special. Very much a family gathering

In short: Hilly course, but well suppported. Quite scenic!
In full: You wouldn't expect a day in late September to be so hot! It was a beautiful sunny day, probably a little too hot for running (in my opinion). The course was quite hilly after the first 2k, up until 5k as we travelled over and through a golf course. The second half of the race was downhill, and through some residential areas with some gorgeous houses to look at! People came out of their houses to cheer us all on, and one family even put out a water station. Very well recieved. Overall a good race, but it felt hard at the time. It was for all abilities, and there were quite a few walkers too.

In full: Hard going in the hot temperature but a very pleasant route and well organised event. I seemed to do the first 1 km very quickly and then the second 1 km very slowly so wasn't convinced by km markers (and then hit the hill) which through timing out somewhat but overall good value and location.

In short: Agree with reviewer below - that hill does get steeper every year!
In full: I really like this race; it is local to me, always a great atmosphere, plenty of parking and pleasant surroundings for the family to wait in, as I plod my way around! Also agree that the first 2 km are boring, around the playing fields, I feel I am getting nowhere fast, as I can see the fast runners spreading out way ahead of me. Other than that minor gripe, I'll be back next year.

In short: Well organised. Tough hill could catch out beginners.
In full: An unseasonably warm day added to the difficulty. Not a big fan of the first 2Km around the field, but the rest of the course was very pleasant. Watch out for the hill!!!

In short: Nice settings
In full: First two km very boring as you have to weave around the school's enormous playing fields (quite a few corner cutters I noticed!) but once on the road it all becomes quite pleasant. Hot day and they had 2 water points which was very welcome.

Goody bag was a joke but the bananas supplied by Fruit for the Office were a welcome touch.

In short:
In full: Great event once again, the hill certainly takes the spring out of your step though. Only issue was with the car parking, for some reason the marshalls directed us straight through to the exit and this seemed to happen to alot of cars in front of us too!
