In short: Well organised and great scenery
In full: V well organised race. Well marshalled and signposted. Was nice running through the woods.
Only downside was the start as it got quite crammed and jammed up.
I'll be back next year.

In full: Really enjoyed the run, very nice atmosphere, not too sure about the wisdom of allowing someone to run with their dog though-didn't affect me as he overtook me lower in the course where it was wider, but at the start of the run it was very steep, uneven and loose underfoot and I talked to several people after the race who felt a bit unsafe on this part as the dog and his owner came rushing through-that minor gripe aside was an excellent run

In short: One of the best races I have ever done. Dirt running should be congratulated on organising such a superb event. Well done!

In short: I ran with my dog and everyone made me and my dog most welcome
In full: The route is one of my favourite walks so i loved the course. I was more than happy to hold the gates open to let runners close behind through as i was going round. What surprised me as i looked back once running again others were doing it - such was the friendlyness of the race.

In short: Hard to think of a better all round race... Fantastic!
In full: Absolutely loved this race, challenging, beautiful, all you could ask for. Although different (Trail V.s Road) it put my local 10K to shame, come on Bearbrook raise your game!

In short: My Race of the Year.
In full: I have completed in a lot of races this year from marathon's to 1 mile relays, and this race tops them all. A great introduction to trail running, stunning scenery, challenging ascents and descents, superb organisation and damn cheap. Can't fault anything.

My race of the year.

Hope this runs next year.

In short: Stunning scenery!
In full: A lovely, lovely course. Hard work but still beginner friendly with a good mix of all standards of speed freaks and runner/walkers. Nice atmosphere, Medal and T-shirt, good value.
Would definitely like to do this again.

In short: Glorious views made up for the climbs. A lovely race!
In full: This race had a very friendly feel. (one chap was awarded a cake after the race as it was his 65th birthday!). Tough course but not tough enough to stop some excellent times from the leading pack. The magnificent scenery and good organisation all contributed towards making a very enjoyable event. Please do it again next year Dirt Running.
