In short: Loved it!
In full: The views lived up to the descriptions on the event website, a gloriously scenic run. Friendly team (thanks for the cakes!) and friendly runners. Despite those challenging hills everyone seemed in such a good mood, well we wouldn't want it too easy would we? Fantastic morning out.

In short: nice race shame about the start
In full: nice race with very friendly organisers cake at end was appreciated. start was a bit of a shambles - couldnt get near front and narrow path full of slower runners prevented a faster time and even pace running - perhaps a word over the microphone would have helped? the horse added some excitement but maybe we should have waited until it had gone?

In short: Great fun, friendly atmosphere, hilly!
In full: I was expecting a steep downhill at the start (as I'd heard about last year) but the start was moved to the bottom of the hill. A wise move I think as there was a large crowd to get started and it could have been dangerous. This, however, meant that the race was more uphill than down with a flat(ish) last mile that allowed me to make up for some of my slower bits on the hills. The finish was a long bend on wet grass and I was glad of the grip offered by my trail shoes.
The pre-race massage by the man from The Sports Therapy Room was much appreciated and I recommend him to anyone in the Leighton Buzzard area.
Great race, well organised by the small team from Dirt Running. Some awesome views from the top of the Chilterns.

In short: lovely views testing hills. great race
In full: This was my first race. The runners i spoke to on the way round were very friendly. Well organised stunning scenery. The hills are a tester but once at the top it was well worth it. Everything ran like clockwork and i will definitely be back next year. Brilliant

In short: Amazing location !
In full: Really enjoyed the route - amazing location ! Bit of a messy start and finish but scenery more than makes up for it. (Also would query the mile marker positions)

Plenty of potential for a good half marathon at same location.
