In short: This is my second review of the race to the one I posted earlier. Please see longer review
In full: I have had time to reflect on this race and having experienced and read many of the competitors comments decided that something needs to be done to improve the 2006 version. I have e-mailed Ken Livingstone, Mayor for London with our concerns with a link to the comments page of Runners World and will contact the Charity Commision with our concerns regarding the entry fee. We all deserve to be treated like respectable human beings and lets hope something positive will come out of all this.

In short: start poor. this is purely a fun run event. people should have been staggered so that pb's could be achieved
In full: if found that i was running on the pavement to pass slow runners not good. would not recommmend for the serious/ club runner. this was a money making excercise only. nice medal and t-shirt though

In short: Great to run through the heart of the city!
In full: So much fun! Cheerleaders, street musicians serenading you, people cheering all the way, camera crews, brilliant! Will definately be there next time!

In short: I was worried about the bad forum messages on the 2003 race but found the organisers seemed to have also listened.
In full: Definitely worth the trip BUT you will HAVE to be at the front to get any hope of a PB. This is a sound candidate for a "wave start" as used so effectively this last year in the Great South Run.

In short: A bit naff
In full: Even running this race at a relative slow pace (55 mins) starting near the back you are hampered by people walking from mile 1. And in the middle of the road.
Rubbish music on course too.

In short: One word - Organisation
In full: I'm glad you have this feedback section because up until now I thought it was just me, but this race has the absolute potential to be 5 star but the organisation is so poor - what a shame. Come on Race Director, pull your socks and out this make this run up there with the other London events (Marathon and the Nike London Runs)I'll even volunteer my time and work in your office!!

In short: Could have been much better, and indeed could be great, but I did get a PB so shouldn't moan I suppose.
