In short: long walk to the start, long walk to the finish.no timed chip and a really poor quality medal at the end. very disappointing. In full: long walk to the start, long walk to the finish.no timed chip and a really poor quality medal at the end. very disappointing. goodie bags are not handed out after the finish you have to go and pick them up from the kit bag area. if you have no kit bag to hand in its a struggle to get a goodie bag at all. its very badly organised for the money i would expect better

In short: Huge and frustrating run, certainly not a race. Don't do it. In full: The enormous crowds meant finding a loo was virtually impossible. We spent around 20 minutes walking to the start line after the official start because of the size of the crowd. The vast number of people meant there were bottles littering the roadway - including in a dark tunnel - which made it hazardous. On the other hand, the London skyline was magnificent and running along Whitehall at the end is a thrill. Date of review: May 20, 2007

In short: AWFUL AWFUL RACE - Appauling organisation and no VFM. A shame for London In full: Just did the Dead Sea Half marathon for 60USD (approx same price as this) for which we got a pasta party, t-shirt, bus rides from the Dead Sea to Amman (50km) and a packed goody bag (which included a small sports holdall) Date of review: April 16, 2007

In short: Congratulations - The worst 10k in the world In full: Do not do this race. Expensive, disorganised and if you leave a bag do not expect it back within 3 or 4 hours. There are lots of excellent 10k runs out there, this was easily the worst. Date of review: October 9, 2006

In short: A good sunny sightseeing trip in London. A few things perhaps could have been better 1) Signs to the baggage area 2) a timing chip 3) fewer of those hairpin bends 4) water a bit closer to the finish line - I was gasping by then! Date of review: July 16, 2006
