In short: My first half and a great experience with great weather and organisation. In full: My first half-marathan and a fantastic experience! Great weather and a truly 'undulating' course. Thoroughly enjoyable. Date of review: October 14, 2005
In short: A well organised and friendly race with a good atmosphere! In full: This was the first time I have done my local race and I will definitely be back next year. My legs were like lead at the end but all in all what a wonderful race. Well organised and very friendly. Date of review: October 12, 2005
In short: Great, well organised event In full: Great race, well organised. The one minute silence for Vernon Olivant was a very nice touch and was appreciated by his fellow runners. 'Sting' in the tail was a good one and caught me out!!!! Date of review: October 12, 2005

In full: Great fun from start to finish, this is the sort of event that keeps me running..A big thank you to everybody involved, the organisors, the marshalls, the youngsters giving out water and medals without you kind people events like this would not happen. In short: Excellent organisation makes this one a bit special. In full: Friendly marshals and organisers really do make a big difference in my opinion. Positive encouragement was everywhere.
Facilities were excellent at Congleton High School with changing and showers and even massage on offer.
Course is challenging in parts but The Sting is only about 300m and so doesn't last forever. Pity it's at the 12 mile marker though! The early start makes for little trafic on rural sections which is always well received.
A T-Shirt that actually fits rounded off the perfect day!
Well done and thanks very much to Congleton Harriers and Congleton Lions. See you next year.
