In short: Good race and well organised.
In full: Some more encouragement from some of the marshalls would have been nice. Traffic on the main roads in the early stages of the race felt a bit close. Sponges were a nice touch at the drinks stations, and very welcome on a warm morning.

In short: a nice steady enjoyable race, well organised, great weather. I'll be back!
In full: the route was brilliantly signed and had plenty of marshalls, but a little encouragement off the marshalls would have been appriciated - i think 4 clapped in total. the drinks stations were handy with sponges and water, but could have done with smaller paper cups - i thought i was been given a milkshake at one point and managed to get more water down my top than in my mouth (but maybe i'm being picky). awkward trying to find room to run until the country lanes - it would have been handy to have had the traffic stopped in one lane until we turned off the main route. but all in all very enjoyable, good course and i'll be back next year... with a straw!

In short: Bargain race, cheap to enter, good quality medal, t shirt, pleasure to take part..
In full: Fantastic race. Made my week. Organisation was excellent. Weather was unbelievable for an October morning. Lovelly course through undulating countryside. Sets the benchmark for value, since it's cheap to enter, but you still get a quality medal and a nice t shirt.

In short: Fantastic!
In full: First time for Congleton, done a few halves before but this is now in the top 3. Some nice inclines and flats.
Absolutely the best weather you could have had for mid October. Just like the Cloud 9!
Apologies to those running near me as I let out a few expletives - I'd busted my left knee and was really struggling. Only 2 mins off my PB!
Only negative is that we were all over the road and it was sometimes tricky with traffic. Marshalls should have been on these bits.
Defo do again.

In short: Once again a great value well organised half marathon
In full: Undulating but plenty of down hill sections to make it a quick course. Wonderful weather made for a fantastic event.
