In short: Nice race, however parking a nightmare need more than one car park. Definitely need bins for chips at exit of race village as wasted time at end trying to locate bin! Disappointing goody bag - a chocolate bar would be nice!

In short: A great day with excellent weather
In full: This race has eluded me for 4 years, so I was glad to finally get to run it. The cobbles at the end worried me and they prevented an all out sprint to the end. The walk back to the car park was epic.......the chip buckets would have been better if they were actual bin located between the castle and the Lawn. However, the event had a great buzz to it and the crowd support was good all helped by the great weather. Will do it again next year.

In short: My 1st event, will do again.
In full: Great medal but goody bag and t-shirt not so good. Well organised on the day although parking uneccessarily slow. No web site update ever.

In short: Great for PB
In full: Flat and quick except for cobbles in last 200m. Stayed overnight within walking distance of start so didn't notice traffic issues. Agree some extra markers at last 5,4,3,2, 100 metres would be good. Don't mind limited goody bag as the medal was the best I've seen. Didn't even notice chip bins and ended up posting chip back later. Good crowd support. Nice finish in castle.

In short: Better than last year. Please sort out the goody bag.
In full: The race actually started this year closer to the official time. Why not just start the race on time and if anyone is still coming down Riseholme road they can put in a warm up run and join in at the back. If Lincoln's roads cant cope with that number of people getting in on time then the numbers should be restricted.

You did get a t-shirt this time but seriously I wouldn't have bothered. Forget the t-shirt unless it is going to be something decent and instead put a couple of bits to eat in the goody bag. There was a bottle of water and a space blanket thats it!. For the cost of entering you should get something more. Grantham half is much cheaper and the goody bag is great (beer, crisps, chunky kitkat, cereal bar, tech t-shirt etc). The only other issue was the chip bins. They were being carried around and the people carrying them seemed to be moving. There were lots of runners wandering around asking where to get rid of their chip. Why not have them in the castle grounds clearly signed. It is a very nice finish although very crowded. I will continue to do this as it is my local race but please sort out the start time and goody bag.

In short: Excellent, and colour coded start really made first couple of K much easier!
In full: There was so much positive about this, and really pleased that Lincoln are listening to suggestions. Well done!
