In short: Great, splashy fun
In full: My 9th Duck Pond and one of the muddiest and most fun. Thank you to all the happy marshals and thanks Striders for a great race.

In short: mud , mud and more mud !
In full: a great if not tough race , very well organised and my thanks to the many marshals . heavy rain prior to the start made the course even tougher but the clear sky and sunshine that was trying to breakthrough made it an enjoyable run .

In short: More of a walk than a run
In full: Sorry to be a dissenting voice to all these positive comments but with the amount of mud in 2009 this was actually quite a boring morning withmore walking than running. Great organisation, very friendly atmosphere and lovely scenery but really and truly, how many slippery cabbage fields can you walk through on a Sunday morning? If you like sliding about in mud and wading through ankle deep puddles perhaps it's for you but I found it tedious. Maybe I'm just a softie road runner!
