In short: Shame there were no distance markers - I ended the race feeling I could have gone faster... Water would also have been most welcome. Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed being soaked through. Importantly I got a new PB and I wasn't last!
In full: As others have said the route had to change and was then 6.5 miles rather than 10k, so a little bit longer. This was only my second 10k and I'm still learning how to pace myself so it was a shame there were no markers, as I ended the race feeling I could have gone faster... Water would also have been most welcome. Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed being soaked through, and importantly I got a new PB and I wasn't last!

In short: The combination of changed route last minute (due to a fallen tree), no distance markers or any water at any stage during the race was a huge disappointment. Having forgot my own water bottle, I was struggling half way round due to thirstt
In full: resulting in some walking at points. Please get distance markers and water and I will be back. Overall, nice run and well organised apart from these big points.
