In short: too much tarmac and concrete !
In full: the 10k is not advertised as a fun run so why aren't there any timings and prizes - The Army could easily do this ! Far too much tarmac on the 10k - the 3k was all on grass - we could do with a lap of the polo field! please think about altering the course !

In short: Exllent Tough course, need to separate runners from joggers
In full: Is a great challenging course, never one for a PB but those hills will separate the men from the boys. I chose to do my own warm up as I know what bits i need to stretch but that meant i had to start near the back and taking a good 20 seconds to cross the line and then having to push and shove (not something I like to do) get anywhere near the runners of similar ability. It would be great if they could separate the "runners" fron the "joggers" at the start which i`m sure would make the start a lot better for all. I`m not too bothered about official timings as have a watch but I would like to know what position I came in, even if they only gave them out for the first 20 or so. A couple of easy tweaks could make this race brilliant!

In short: Intense but incredibly satisfying
In full: I hate this run although it's the 4th time I have run the 10K; every time is as challenging as the last. Features the mighty Sidbury Hill which is the toughest challenge on the local circuit (and brings me back for more!). This year, as last featured: Good crowd, losts of mud and lots of hills and a surprisingly good time of 46 mins.

In short: A very tough and challenging race! so pleased i wore my trail shoes, they helped on tricky slippy bits and gave assurance on fast downhill slopes. Like the dog tag medal too!
