In short: Lovely day, very long hill, great marshalls, fantabulous pud
In full: My third Pud Run, and a PB. The hills don't seem to get any easier, the weather doesn't seem to get any warmer, but it is just a lovely, friendly race that keeps me coming back. GB1 you can run on the footpaths through Smalley village.

In short: Well organised race let down slightly by the stretch on the main road
In full: My only gripe in an otherwise well organised run is that uphill stretch on a main road in the first half. The second half is beautiful through a country park - would it be feasible to look at 2 laps in the park and keep away from the traffic fumes? (White van man on a Sunday morning in a hurry!) Well marshalled throughout, facilities OK, usual scrum at the finish thanks to the dipsticks that insist on gossiping and getting in the way of us plodders at the back, nice pudding to take away. Thanks Heanor RC.
