In short: First race for 16 or 17 years. I enjoyed it.
In full: This was my first race for 16 or 17 years. Bit daunting at the start with all the club runners and I did think what am I doing here!! However once it started it was great to be back running with a number on my front.
Marshalled well and drinks available where they said they were going to be. I enjoyed the day - thanks Fenland Runners.

In short: Excellent event, ideal for a possible PB if the Fen weather allows!!
In full: Always a well organised event, mens loo's at the school were poor, but other than that a good event. Huge PB potential if the Fen weather allows on a totally flat course.
Organisers to be congratulated on correcting initial error in some time being "one runner out". My time was then spot on with the organisers - thanks!!
Everyone knows the 8th and 9th mile boards were out of position although it was a mile between 8 and 9, they payback came in a short 10th mile, just when you need it!!

In short: Another enjoyable race
In full: My third year running in this event so I must enjoy it. Well organised again - thanks Fenland. Just get those 8 & 9 mile markers in the right places next year ;-)

In short: nice and flat
In full: lots of good encouragement from marshalls, but not too sure about results as i seem to have had 30 seconds added onto my time, and that 8 mile marker was not in the right spot, but at least 9 mile came round a bit quicker.apart from that i had a great day and shall run this race again.

In short: Was expecting flat fast with potential headwinds and that was what we got.
In full: I ran a PB on the course despite the wind between miles 3 and 6. Considering we were in the heart of the Fens I thought the scenery was remarkably varied. A good job well done by Fenland Runners.

In short: Fast run through the fens with good pb potential
In full: In general a good race. Flat and fast - but reliably windy!! Good organisation and marshalls - shame about the lack of toilets - and was it just me or was that 8mile marker a long time coming....made for a short last mile though.

In short: Hotly competed race with a really fast pace, Well organised from start to finish - good marshalling, directions and distance marking. Will do next year and would recommend to anyone looking to increase their pace.

In short: Lovely scenery, flat course, loads of marshals
In full: I found this event really hard - but I am sure that is because I had a bad day. The course was flat and through some lovely Fenland Towns, with marshals all the way through the course.

My only complaint is that the timing seemed dodgy. My Garmin had my time some 4 minutes faster than recorded - and it has been accurate on 2 Half Marathons in the last month.
